Row 2 by Janet Bludau, California Abstract Palette Knife Paintings

This 6 x 6 Oil on Archival Board Painting is #2 in a series of 3.
The color palette is the same with all three and here is the reason I like doing three paintings in the same palette with a similar composition.........
I do my fair share of art shows.  I often will find that a person is very attracted to one of my 6 x 6's and yet they want something else to "go with it".  If I have 3 paintings to offer, they can either purchase 1, 2 or 3 paintings, and hang them together,  framed separately, or, all 3 can be framed together in the same frame as a triptych.  If you aren't sure what I mean by this, email me and I will send you a photo.
#3 of the rowing series will be posted soon.

Very settled and very beautiful painting. The boat is far to see detail and yet you can definitely recognize that it's been on a water for a long time.
Thank you,
Irina
