"Martini Sunrise" oil on canvas by Diane Morgan

Happy accident.  I leaned a martini watercolor up against a sunrise oil and thought.....I need to combine these images. So, here it is!   Oil on Canvas 36 x 24

If you have a martini sunrise you don't make it to sunset.

"Martini Sunrise" accidental idea

Not tequila sunrise, but  “Martini Sunrise.”

I inadvertently leaned my martini painting up against a recent landscape. Top half is an oil; bottom a watercolor.  I thought …….hmmmmmm…… I might have something here.  I think I will have to paint this combo.

"Sunken Treasure" watercolor class demo

Tried a new surface.  Arches watercolor board.  It's quite nice.  Fun to work with.  Stains a little easier with some colors, but overall I'd give it a thumbs up.  No buckling because the entire sheet is glued to a board.  No need to tape or staple to a support.  Comes in 32" x 40" sheets.  Quite reasonable.  "Sunken Treasure" 8-1/2" x 11"  http://dianemorganfineart.com/works/1624419/sunken-treasure
