“BLOWN AWAY”
12x16 inch original oil painting
by Tom Brown
Winds are gusting at 40 MPH today but I simply HAD to see if I could pull off this painting outdoors on location.
About 2 weeks ago I painted in high winds at this same spot. And I mentioned the critical step of ANCHORING the easel and painting securely. I followed that precaution today also.
The lighting was more subdued that day. Today it’s very bright and sunny. I wanted to see how the same scene would differ as a result.
Scroll back on my blog for a comparison with this painting, and let me know your comments.
