Here's another from the recent archives! We spend time in winter in the southern California desert, near Palm Springs / Palm Desert. Both my husband and I love it, and the natural oases with flowing streams or natural springs found in the valley - - beautiful!!
Plein air painting is a passion ! I always bring my paintbox along on trips, whether we drive or fly. If we drive, I can take an almost unlimited amount of painting equipment; but if we fly, I need to really plan and bring what I know works for air travel and for painting / transporting wet paintings back home.
