IMPRESSIONIST PALETTE KNIFE LANDSCAPE PAINTING by Tom Brown

Many artists confine themselves to a single type of painting method. I enjoy painting both with a palette knife as well as with brushes. Each method provides a different visual treat.

This little palette knife painting has tremendous impact despite its small size. It sparkles like a small gem, and it’s filled with rich textural effects on the canvas as well as luscious color.

For me, the subject matter can sometimes be incidental. In this painting, HOW the subject was painted is responsible for as much interest as the subject itself.

I hope you enjoy it.

This painting measures approximately 3.5x5.5 inches. If you are interested in purchasing it, email me for details: tombrownstudio@cox.net
