Once again I used a favorite pochade paint box to paint this picture; you can see it in the photo below. It makes outdoor painting so simple because it sets up instantly, holds my wet palette and painting as I work, and I can even leave my wet painting inside to take it home. The pochade box weights less than a pound but it’s very sturdy so it can really take a beating (great for outdoor work). Best of all it cost a tiny fraction of most other commercial models.
