"Don't Worry Be Happy" watercolor

This is a demo started in a class a few months ago.  Finished this weekend.  These boats were tied up in a busy urban harbor in South America.  I decided yesterday to turn it into a tropical scene.  Guess I'm in the mood for a vacation.  Watercolor on Arches 300# cold press  10-1/2 x 14"

Harbor Reflections by Southern California Artist Marian Fortunati

Harbor Reflections

12" x 12"  Oil on Gessoed Hardboard

I enjoy sharing my work with you.  If you'd like to know more about this painting or if you'd like Pay Pal information,   contact me through this link.

*********
There is nothing that can give you more of a sense of freedom than going out on a beautiful day and sailing out of the harbor and across the bay.  The palette knife creates a sense of playfulness and freedom -- just like you might experience when you're out on the sea in your beautiful sailboat.

COLORFUL HARBOR SCENE BY TOM BROWN

“INSPIRATION”
6x8 INCH ORIGINAL PLEIN AIR
OIL PAINTING BY TOM BROWN

Sometimes I like to push the color in my paintings. And the light across the harbor inspired me when I came upon this delightful scene. I painted this at the edge of Balboa Island in Newport Beach. It’s one of my favorite places to visit, and it’s filled with inspirational things to paint.

If you would like this little jewel to grace your walls, email me at: tombrownstudio@cox.net

Have an inspiring day, and thanks for looking.
