Yesterday I posted a 24x24-inch demonstration painting I did during a Plein Air Workshop on Saturday morning. The workshop focused on how to create large gallery-ready paintings from start to finish, entirely on-site.
Here is another 24x24-inch painting done from nearly the same spot. But this was done at sunset, looking off to the right of the scene shown in yesterday’s painting.
This shows Saddleback Mountain with the rich golden colors of the setting sun washing across it. And like yesterday’s piece, this was done entirely on location.
This was really fun to paint, I hope you like it.
